We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Oncology/Hematology Physician to join our fast-growing team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will become part of a dedicated group of three oncologists within a coordinated cancer program offering Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Breast Oncology services. This role is designed for a physician who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
In this position, you will work alongside a robust support staff including RN Navigators, Triage RNs, Infusion RNs, a Dietician, Pharmacist, Phlebotomists, and Medical Assistants. You will collaborate closely with our Pulmonology team through the ION robotic bronchoscopy program, supporting early lung cancer diagnosis and timely treatment initiation. The clinic features 9 exam rooms, a 12-bay infusion suite, and an on-site TriCore lab and pharmacy. To ensure you can see more patients without extending your day, our providers utilize Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation and improve patient flow.
You will have the opportunity to utilize the newly installed Varian Edge Radiation Therapy System, the newest and most advanced radiation therapy technology in Albuquerque. While the primary schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the role includes shared or rotating night and weekend call for inpatient consultations.
