Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Telemetry unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Miami, FL. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care. The position involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards while managing the complex needs of acute care patients.

The Role

As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be the frontline observer and advocate for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vitals and pain levels, and reporting any clinical changes immediately. You will administer medications and treatments per physician orders, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. A key part of your mission is educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions, ensuring a smooth transition from hospital to home.
