We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Telemetry unit within a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting in New York, NY. This role is critical for delivering patient-centered care and ensuring the highest clinical standards in an acute care environment.
About the Role
In this position, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments per physician orders, and monitoring vitals, pain levels, and other clinical indicators. You will play a key role in educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions while maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively in a team-based setting.
