About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Telemetry unit within a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment in New York, NY. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care while maintaining the highest clinical standards.
The Role
In this position, you will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of patients requiring continuous cardiac and physiological monitoring. The day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments per physician orders, and monitoring vitals, pain levels, and other clinical indicators. You will play a vital role in educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions, while ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS Certification
- verifiedMinimum 1-2 years of recent Telemetry experience
- verifiedExperience with IV therapy and telemetry
- verifiedExperience with high-acuity patients
Nice to Have
Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
