Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Telemetry unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Miami, FL. This role is vital for delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest clinical standards within a high-acuity, team-based setting.

The Role

In this position, you will serve as a critical member of the acute care hospital team. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will play a key role in maintaining patient safety by monitoring vitals and pain levels, reporting clinical changes promptly, and following strict infection control and safety protocols.

Beyond clinical duties, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility where applicable. A significant part of your impact will be educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions. You will maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, requiring strong clinical judgment and adaptability to manage multiple patients effectively.
