About the Position
TravelNurseSource is partnering with Cynet Health to locate a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for a 13-week contract in Louisville, Kentucky (40217). This role is designed for a professional nurse accountable for the care of a patient group, focusing on safe, effective, patient and family-centered care, and quality outcomes.
The Role in Context
In this position, the RN serves as a vital link in the healthcare continuum, responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive plans of care. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, personal development, and the supervision of both licensed and non-licensed staff. Beyond clinical duties, the nurse acts as a mentor and preceptor, fostering teamwork and identifying opportunities for process improvement to ensure a financially stable and high-quality unit.

Hiring Process & Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid Registered Nurse license and a minimum of two years of acute care RN experience, specifically in inpatient telemetry. Essential certifications include BLS and NIHSS. To complete onboarding, successful candidates must also provide proof of ACLS, Pharmacology knowledge, a completed Skills Checklist, and pass a Specialty Exam.
