About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Rehab unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in New York, NY. This role is vital for delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest clinical standards for patients recovering from acute illness or injury.
The Role
In this high-acuity, team-based setting, you will serve as a key member of the care team, requiring adaptability and strong clinical judgment. Your day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility while closely monitoring vitals and pain levels to report any clinical changes immediately.
A significant part of your impact will be educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions. You will maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, while strictly following infection control and safety protocols. This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a hospital setting and is passionate about guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey.

Requirements
