About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in New York, NY. This role is critical for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a high-acuity, team-based hospital environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards are met while managing complex patient needs.
The Role
In this 13-week contract starting ASAP, you will be the frontline of critical care, performing comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring ongoing conditions in real-time. Your day will involve administering medications and treatments per physician orders, assisting with patient mobility, and managing IV therapy and telemetry. You will maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, while educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions. Strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt quickly are essential as you monitor vitals, pain levels, and report any clinical changes to the team.

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice

Nice to Have
Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
