About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Rehab unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in New York, NY. This role is designed for a professional dedicated to delivering patient-centered care within a high-acuity, team-based setting. Success in this position requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of patients recovering from acute care.
The Role
As a Rehab RN, you will be the cornerstone of patient recovery, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high clinical standards are met. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments according to physician orders. You will play a vital role in patient education, guiding families through care plans and discharge instructions, while maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive hospital setting where your expertise in IV therapy, telemetry, and managing multiple patients will directly impact patient outcomes. You will be expected to follow strict infection control and safety protocols while assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility.

Requirements

Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
