Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit

About the Position

TravelNurseSource is partnering with Magnet Medical to recruit a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Mattoon, Illinois. This role serves a critical bridge in patient care, providing intermediate monitoring and treatment for individuals who require a higher level of acuity than a general medical-surgical unit but do not need the intensive resources of an ICU.

In this capacity, you will deliver critical care to patients recovering from surgery, medical procedures, or acute conditions. The position demands a collaborative approach, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for monitoring patient progress, responding dynamically to changes in health status, and managing complex conditions such as heart failure, respiratory distress, and post-operative complications.
