About the Position
TravelNurseSource is partnering with AMN Healthcare to locate a qualified Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Pre-Post Op department at Central Maine in Lewiston, Maine. This role places you within a 250-bed teaching hospital known for its diverse surgical case mix and advanced peri-anesthesia care.
Lewiston, located approximately 35 miles north of Portland, offers a vibrant community with easy access to the state's largest city. The area is home to several educational institutions, including Bates College, and boasts a thriving arts culture featuring an annual film festival, a symphony orchestra, and multiple art museums. Application Instructions
To qualify for this assignment, candidates must possess current nursing licensure (RN Compact accepted), at least two years of PACU experience, and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record systems is preferred. Required certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
