Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team in Bronx, NY. This 14-week contract role focuses on delivering high-quality, critical care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The position is designed for a nurse committed to providing comprehensive nursing care, managing complex medical needs, and fostering effective communication with families and healthcare teams.
As a Pediatric ICU Nurse, you will be the frontline caregiver for children requiring intensive monitoring and support. Your day will involve administering medications, closely monitoring vital signs, and performing specialized procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, and managing conscious sedation. Success in this role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt quickly to the dynamic needs of critically ill children and their families.
Candidates must possess a valid Client RN License with primary source verification from the NYS Department of Education. To ensure readiness for onboarding, all selected candidates must complete the following requirements:
Additionally, applicants must demonstrate two years of experience in client and child care, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation. The AHA BLS and AHA PALS certifications are mandatory for this position.
