Role Details
This position is based in Elkader, IA, with a start date of May 31, 2026. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts (05:45 AM – 06:15 PM) over three days per week, with a requirement to work two out of every six weekends. The contract guarantees 36 hours per week for the duration of the assignment.
Onboarding & Compliance
Candidates must complete a comprehensive onboarding process to ensure safety and compliance. This includes verification of credentials, a 10-panel drug screen, and a criminal background check. Specific medical requirements include a 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for tuberculosis, color vision screening, and up-to-date vaccinations. Nurses must also complete specialty-specific competency testing, including a MedSurg Exam and Skills Checklist, along with training on patient privacy, system security, and abuse prevention.
