About the Role
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical-Surgical unit, specifically focusing on Orthopaedic care. In this role, you will care for patients with musculoskeletal diseases and disorders, including arthritis, fractures, broken bones, joint replacements, genetic malformations, and osteoporosis. When these problems require surgery, you will assist doctors with the operation and support patients in recovering their mobility and strength. Education is also a vital part of your job, as you will teach patients and families about musculoskeletal disease prevention, symptoms, and treatments.
Assignment Details
This is a 13-week contract located in Lewiston, ME, with a start date of ASAP. The shift schedule involves rotating 3 days per week for 12-hour shifts.
