About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical-Surgical unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Dallas, TX. The Role
As a Med Surg Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of patient care, requiring adaptability and strong clinical judgment. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility while rigorously monitoring vitals, pain levels, and reporting any clinical changes immediately.
Documentation is a key component of your workflow, requiring accuracy within EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a crucial role in educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions, ensuring a smooth transition of care. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in an acute care hospital setting and is committed to maintaining strict infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements

Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
