Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical-Surgical unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Dallas, TX. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care. The Role

As a Med Surg Nurse, you will be the frontline of patient care, performing comprehensive assessments and monitoring ongoing conditions. Your day will involve administering medications and treatments per physician orders, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and managing patient mobility. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, while educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions.

This position requires strong clinical judgment and adaptability to manage multiple patients effectively. You will monitor vitals and pain levels, promptly reporting any clinical changes to ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols.

Contract Details

This is a 13-week contract with a start date available ASAP. The schedule features rotating shifts, consisting of 4 days per week with 8-hour shifts. Compensation ranges from $1,636 to $2,543 per week.
