About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long Term Care unit within a fast-paced healthcare environment in New York, NY. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care.
The Role
As an RN in this Long Term Care unit, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards. Your day-to-day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will play a vital role in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility, while closely monitoring vitals and pain levels to report any clinical changes immediately.
A key part of your mission is to maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, and to educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions. Success in this position requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively while adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS Certification
- verifiedMinimum 1-2 years of recent experience in Long Term Care
- verifiedExperience with IV therapy, telemetry, and high-acuity patients
Nice to Have
Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
