Travel Nurse RN - Long-Term Care

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long Term Care unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Miami, FL. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care. The position involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high clinical standards while managing the unique needs of long-term care patients.

The Role

In this capacity, you will serve as a vital link in the care continuum, performing comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring ongoing conditions. Your day-to-day will include administering medications and treatments per physician orders, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and managing patient mobility. You will be responsible for monitoring vitals and pain levels, promptly reporting any clinical changes, and maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. Additionally, you will play a key educational role by guiding patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions while strictly adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
