About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long Term Care unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Miami, FL. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care.
The Role
As an RN in this Long Term Care unit, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high clinical standards. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will play a vital role in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility, while closely monitoring vitals and pain levels to report any clinical changes promptly.
Effective communication is key in this position, as you will educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, while strictly following infection control and safety protocols.
