You will join a well-established, accredited Women's Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, holding Advanced Certification in Perinatal Care. This 13-week travel assignment focuses on a Mother/Baby (Postpartum) couplet unit featuring a Level III NICU. The role offers a vibrant city setting with easy access to cultural attractions, dining, and outdoor amenities.
As a Travel RN, you will provide family-centered, compassionate care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You will manage obstetric complications such as postpartum hemorrhage, hypertension, and OB sepsis while delivering care to mothers and newborns at a 1:3–4 patient ratio. The position operates on a 12-hour day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and a requirement to work every other Friday–Saturday weekend.
