About the Role
TravelNurseSource is partnering with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified Registered Nurse for a Labor & Delivery position in the DFW Region, Texas. This 13-week contract offers a dynamic environment where you will support women through the four stages of delivery: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care.
In this role, you will be the constant companion for patients throughout their labor journey, sitting with them before, during, and after delivery. Your day will involve monitoring contractions, guiding patients through breathing techniques, and tracking fetal heart rates alongside the mother's vital signs. You will manage care for patients receiving Pitocin, MgSO4, and continuous lumbar epidurals, while periodically assessing cervical dilation to monitor labor progression. This position is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to contribute to critical moments in patient care.
