About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Miami, FL. This role is critical for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a high-acuity, team-based hospital setting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards are met while managing complex patient needs.
The Role
In this 13-week contract starting ASAP, you will be the frontline advocate for patients requiring intensive monitoring and care. Your day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments per physician orders, and monitoring vitals and pain levels to report any clinical changes immediately. You will also assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility, while maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. A key part of your mission includes educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions, all while strictly adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements
