About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Miami, FL. This role is critical for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a high-acuity, team-based hospital setting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards are met while adapting to the dynamic needs of critically ill patients.
The Role
In this 13-week contract starting ASAP, you will be the frontline provider for patients requiring intensive monitoring and support. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments per physician orders, and monitoring vitals, pain levels, and clinical changes. You will play a key role in assisting with patient mobility, maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems (such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech), and educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions. Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously are essential to thriving in this environment.
