We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in New York, NY. This role is designed for a professional dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a high-acuity environment. You will be an integral part of a team-based setting that demands adaptability and strong clinical judgment.
In this critical care position, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards for our most vulnerable patients. Your day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will also assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), manage patient mobility, and maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions while strictly adhering to infection control and safety protocols. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a hospital setting where every shift requires precision and compassion.
