About the Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) provides comprehensive care to critically ill and step-down patients within a mixed-acuity environment. This role is designed to ensure continuity of care and high-quality outcomes by managing the unique needs of both intensive care patients and those transitioning from critical care.
The unit features a combined capacity of 32 beds, including 10 ICU beds and 22 IMCU beds, offering exposure to a diverse range of critical care and step-down patient populations. Success in this position requires strong clinical judgment to navigate the complexities of a mixed-acuity setting effectively.
