About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Skilled Nursing unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Miami, FL. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-acuity, team-based settings and are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care.
The Role
In this position, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high clinical standards while managing the unique needs of geriatric and skilled nursing patients. The day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments per physician orders, and monitoring vitals, pain levels, and clinical changes. You will also play a key role in educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions, all while maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
