Travel Nurse RN - Geriatrics / Skilled Nursing Facility

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Skilled Nursing unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment located in Dallas, TX. This role is designed for a professional dedicated to delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards.

The Role

In this high-acuity, team-based setting, you will serve as a vital link in the continuum of care. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will work closely with patients and their families, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), patient mobility, and providing education on care plans and discharge instructions.

Success in this position requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt quickly to the needs of a skilled nursing unit. You will be responsible for monitoring vitals and pain levels, reporting any clinical changes immediately, and maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. Adherence to infection control and safety protocols is paramount in this environment.
