TravelNurseSource is partnering with Cynet Health to locate a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy for a 13-week contract in San Francisco, California. This role is designed for a professional seeking to leverage their clinical expertise in a dynamic outpatient setting.
The position focuses on high-volume endoscopy care, with a daily patient census of approximately 50 to 60 cases. The nurse will work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, utilizing multiple endoscopy rooms. The environment offers robust interdisciplinary support to assist during procedures, ensuring a collaborative atmosphere.
Candidates will be responsible for administering conscious sedation, managing airways, and performing various endoscopic procedures. Key daily duties include specimen handling, initiating and maintaining IVs, and monitoring patient recovery during pre- and post-procedure phases. The role requires the ability to float to other facilities as needed, offering exposure to diverse healthcare systems and patient populations.
