This 13-week contract opportunity places a Registered Nurse within a busy outpatient endoscopy center in San Francisco, CA. The team manages a daily patient census of approximately 50 to 60 cases across multiple procedure rooms. The role is designed for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive care from pre-procedure preparation through post-procedure recovery.
Nurses in this position will administer conscious sedation, manage airways, and assist with various endoscopic procedures alongside an interdisciplinary support team. The role also involves critical tasks such as specimen handling, initiating and maintaining IVs, and monitoring patient vitals during recovery. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other facilities as operational needs arise.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a valid RN license, a BSN degree, and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. Preference is given to those with prior travel experience within the last 12 months and specific trauma I/II experience. Successful candidates will be required to complete onboarding requirements including a Pharmacology course, a Skills Checklist, and a Specialty Exam before starting their shift.
