We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. This travel nursing position involves performing various endoscopic procedures and providing technical support during advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. The role requires operating specialized equipment, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring proper reprocessing of scopes.
The ideal candidate will assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. You will technically support and circulate during procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Bravo, EMR, and Bronchoscopy/EBUS. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols and performing scope reprocessing and equipment maintenance as needed.
This position operates on a schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with an optional Friday shift. The role also includes participation in a rotating call schedule, including evenings and weekends.
