About the Role
As an Endoscopy Tech, you will join a dedicated team under the direction of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse to support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. Your day-to-day work will focus on maintaining a sanitary environment for patients undergoing GI procedures. You will be responsible for the high-level disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment, ensuring the endoscopy unit is adequately prepared with all necessary supplies before each case. Between procedures, you will clean treatment rooms and prepare them for the next patient. Additionally, you will assist in the maintenance, care, and labeling of specimens, identifying them with the surgeon and passing them to the circulating RN.
