About the Role
The Surgical Technologist provides essential clinical support within the Digestive Health Center as a key member of the endoscopy team. This role is designed to assist with patient care activities, obtain specimens, and support physicians with instruments, room setup, and teardown between cases.
A significant portion of this position involves the reprocessing of endoscopes and accessory instruments, serving as the primary resource for technical equipment within the department. The Surgical Technologist works collaboratively with the RN and physicians to ensure procedures are performed efficiently and safely, maintaining a sterile environment and managing inventory and supply coordination.
