Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Emergency Room unit in Miami, FL. This role is critical for delivering patient-centered care within a high-acuity, acute care hospital setting. The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards while adapting to the dynamic nature of emergency medicine.

The Role

In this 13-week contract starting ASAP, you will be the frontline provider for patients requiring immediate attention. Your day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will play a key role in patient mobility, managing ADLs, and monitoring vitals and pain levels, promptly reporting any clinical changes to the team.

Beyond clinical duties, you will maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech, and educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions. Success in this environment requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously, and strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
