About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Emergency Room unit in Dallas, TX. This role is critical for delivering patient-centered care within a high-acuity, acute care hospital setting. The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards while adapting to the dynamic nature of emergency medicine.
The Role
In this 13-week contract, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor ongoing conditions, and administer medications and treatments per physician orders. The position requires strong clinical judgment to manage multiple patients simultaneously, assist with patient mobility, and maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. You will also play a key role in educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions while strictly adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Shift Details
This position is based on a night shift schedule, working 4 days a week for 12-hour shifts. The contract is set to begin as soon as possible.

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS Certification
- verifiedMinimum 1-2 years of recent experience in ER
- verifiedExperience with IV therapy, telemetry, and high-acuity patients
Nice to Have
Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
