About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Emergency Room unit in New York, NY. This role is critical for delivering patient-centered care within a high-acuity, acute care hospital setting. The position demands adaptability and strong clinical judgment as you collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards.
Day in the Life
In this dynamic environment, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor ongoing conditions, and administer medications and treatments per physician orders. Your day will involve assisting with patient mobility, managing vitals and pain levels, and maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. You will also play a key role in educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions while strictly adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
