Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Emergency Room unit in Dallas, TX. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment. The core mission of this position is to deliver patient-centered care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest clinical standards are met.

The Role in Action

In this 13-week contract, you will be the frontline responder in a team-based setting that demands adaptability and strong clinical judgment. Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments according to physician orders. You will play a critical role in maintaining patient safety by monitoring vitals and pain levels, reporting any clinical changes immediately, and adhering strictly to infection control and safety protocols.

Beyond clinical duties, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient mobility, while also serving as an educator for patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge instructions. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously within the ER unit, utilizing EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech for accurate documentation.
