About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Emergency Room unit in Miami, FL. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, ensuring high clinical standards, and adapting to the unique demands of acute trauma and emergency settings.
The Role in Action
In this 13-week contract starting ASAP, you will work a night shift schedule (3 days x 12 hours). Your day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering medications and treatments per physician orders. You will play a critical role in maintaining patient safety by monitoring vitals and pain levels, reporting clinical changes promptly, and assisting with patient mobility and ADLs where applicable.
Collaboration is central to this position. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions. Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously, and proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.

Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice

Nice to Have
Experience in hospital or clinical setting. ACLS certification.
