About the Role

This opportunity is for a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join a facility in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As a member of the surgical team, you will play a vital role in optimizing patient outcomes during open and closed heart surgeries. Your day will involve collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care.

You will be responsible for preparing the operating room, assembling necessary equipment and implants, and ensuring all supplies are sterile and functional. Throughout the procedure, you will assist with safe patient positioning, actively participate in safety protocols like the Universal Protocol and timeout, and handle specimens with precision. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring patients and responding effectively to emergencies, ensuring a seamless transition from the operating room to post-surgical care.
