- check_circlePerform routine diagnostic laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, and immunology
- check_circlePrepare and process specimens for analysis with accurate labeling and handling
- check_circleEnsure accuracy and reliability of test results by following quality control protocols
- check_circleOperate and maintain laboratory instruments while performing troubleshooting
- check_circleSupport investigation of transfusion reactions by collecting and preparing samples
- check_circleCommunicate test results clearly and professionally to healthcare professionals
- check_circleMaintain detailed records of test results, calibrations, and quality control measures
- check_circleAssist with inventory management, reagent preparation, and stocking lab supplies
Requirements
- verifiedOne year of recent experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician
- verifiedValid license when needed in compliance with any state regulations
- verifiedNational certification through ASCP or equivalent such as AMT, AAB, HEW certifications
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- verifiedProficiency in PC skills
