About the Role
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to oversee Medical Oncology operations at a hospital in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. In this leadership role, you will manage daily clinical operations, including staffing, patient flow, and resource utilization. You will be responsible for building and optimizing chemotherapy regimens within the EMR to support safe, evidence-based treatment plans.
You will coordinate oncology care across interdisciplinary teams, including Radiation Oncology, pharmacy, and providers, while overseeing complex navigation workflows for chemotherapy and high-risk infusions. Your day-to-day will involve supporting clinical trial coordination, engaging in community outreach and survivorship programming, and integrating TeamSTEPPS to promote patient safety and collaboration. Reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Officer, you will also lead staff recruitment, retention, and professional development efforts while ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and federal regulations.
Assignment Details
This is a 13-week travel assignment starting May 18, 2026, with a flexible variable schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. The position is based in a hospital setting within the Medical Oncology unit.
