About the Role

This is a temporary, travel-style assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a long-term care setting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role focuses on providing direct nursing care to residents requiring ongoing support. Due to current staffing needs, this position involves administering prescribed medications and conducting med passes in the hall, alongside monitoring and responding to changes in resident conditions.

You will be responsible for completing accurate documentation, including MARs, care plans, and progress notes, while collaborating with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans. The position requires a high level of autonomy, including the ability to perform medication administration without med tech assistance. This is a local opportunity for candidates based in the Albuquerque area, offering a structured day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts (06:30–19:00).
