About the Role
You will join a nationally recognized, Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care facility in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a high-impact position within a Labor and Delivery unit that serves a fast-paced environment, managing an average of 14 patients including inductions and high-risk antepartum cases.
In this role, you will provide direct patient care across LDR rooms, OB Triage, antepartum units, OR suites, and PACU. You will manage and monitor laboring patients, perform OB triage assessments for third-trimester testing, and serve in or train toward a charge nurse role as needed. The position requires floating to like units within the facility or affiliate locations to meet staffing demands. You will document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health records system.

Requirements
- verifiedActive Alaska RN license
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience

Nice to Have
Prior charge nurse experience in Labor and Delivery. Experience in high-risk OB or Level II or higher trauma settings. Familiarity with high-volume triage and antepartum patient populations.
