Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery unit
- check_circleMonitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- check_circleDocument patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
- check_circleParticipate in on-call shifts to meet unit staffing needs
- check_circleRespond to emergency situations including potential assignment to emergency response teams
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- verifiedActive South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedAWHONN Beginner certification
- verifiedAWHONN Intermediate certification
- verifiedFetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
- verifiedNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Nice to Have
AWHONN Advanced certification, STABLE program certification, prior experience with Epic electronic health records system.
