About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at a Magnet Facility and Level II Trauma Center in Anchorage, Alaska. This position requires a passion for providing comprehensive care to obstetric patients, ensuring safety, and supporting families during the childbirth process.
The unit is a high-volume environment handling a variety of obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies. The average daily deliveries range from 7 to 14, supplemented by an influx of triage patients. You will be part of a team managing 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 Operating Room Suites, and 4 PACU Rooms. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams to assist with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, newborn care, and postpartum assessments.
