Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients including high-risk OB and antepartum
- check_circleManage and monitor patients on drips including magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
- check_circleMaintain patient ratios of 1:1–2 within a 45-bed unit with 2 operating rooms
- check_circleFloat across multiple campuses as required to meet unit staffing needs
- check_circleParticipate in on-call, charge, and preceptor responsibilities as assigned
- check_circleAdhere to holiday scheduling requirements including working designated summer holidays
Requirements
- verifiedActive Iowa RN license or valid Compact/Multistate RN license
- verifiedMinimum of one completed travel nursing assignment within the past 12 months
- verifiedDemonstrated experience in Labor & Delivery
- verifiedIntermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification (AHA)
- verifiedCurrent NRP certification
Nice to Have
Experience in postpartum / mother-baby care. Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months.
