Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct nursing care for patients experiencing labor, preterm labor, and related OB-GYN conditions
- check_circlePerform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, and post-op duties for OB-GYN surgical cases
- check_circleAttend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries and support couplet care and low-risk antepartum patients
- check_circleAdminister and monitor medications and therapies including blood products, heparin, insulin, and epidural pumps
- check_circleOperate and manage specialized equipment including wound vacs, cooling/warming blankets, and syringe pumps
- check_circleFloat to Post-Partum or NICU units as needed based on skill set and staffing requirements
Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- verifiedEpic EMR experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
- verifiedMust not be a first-time traveler
- verified2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
Nice to Have
Current ACLS certification. Experience with transition nursery and high-risk antepartum patient populations. Demonstrated ability to float to Post-Partum or NICU settings.
