About the Role
We are seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Special Procedures for a 13-week assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina, starting June 22, 2026. This role is designed for professionals ready to apply their expertise in high-acuity environments, specifically within Electrophysiology (EP) Labs.
In this position, you will perform critical procedures including cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, and laser lead extractions. You will be responsible for equipment setup, accurate monitoring, and the recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. The role requires proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias, performing EKG lead placement, and managing specialized equipment such as PFA, Cryo, ESI, and IVUS systems. You will work within the EPIC (CUPID) unit system to document medication and facilitate communication.
This is a 40-hour per week position working 10-hour day shifts. The unit accepts first-time travelers and locals, offering a competitive rate difference for local candidates. You will be expected to maintain a minimum of 3 years of experience in this specialty.
