As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will assume responsibility for the operation of the electrophysiology (EP) suite. In this critical role, you will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias, specializing in the care of patients undergoing EP studies, device implantation, and ablations. Your day-to-day involves operating diagnostic equipment, monitoring patient vitals, performing routine calculations, managing patient circulation, and acting as a vital liaison to the hospital Radiation Safety Officer. You will prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and safe patient transfer techniques throughout the process.
