Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide cardiac surgical nursing care within the Operating Room setting
- check_circleServe as a Circulating Nurse for cardiac and general surgical procedures
- check_circleCare for a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
- check_circleCollaborate with provider specialties to support same-day discharge and inpatient admission cases
- check_circleSupport procedural sedation patients throughout the perioperative process
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent, unencumbered Oregon RN license
- verifiedHealthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- verifiedAHA ACLS certification
- verifiedMinimum one (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing program
- verifiedMinimum two (2) years of experience in an ICU, PCU, and/or medical/surgical acute care setting
Nice to Have
One (1) or more years of CVOR / Open Heart experience. ICU background. Scrubbing experience in the OR.
