About the Position

Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Boston, MA. This 13-week contract role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about delivering precise diagnostic imaging for cardiovascular care.

In this position, you will serve as a critical link between advanced imaging technology and patient outcomes. Your day will involve performing comprehensive 2-dimensional, color Doppler, and Doppler echocardiograms, as well as conducting stress and dobutamine studies. Beyond the technical execution of scans, you will be responsible for reviewing patient histories to ensure accurate testing, explaining complex procedures to patients, and ensuring their proper positioning. The role demands a high level of expertise in diagnosing a wide range of cardiac conditions, including wall motion abnormalities, pericardial effusions, and congenital defects.

You will also play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the testing environment. This includes mobilizing equipment for portable studies, meticulously recording and reviewing test results, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the testing room. Effective communication with referring physicians regarding preliminary reports is essential to the workflow.
